Week-End Update

Hope everyone had a wonderful week-end, and I just wanted you all to know we'll start back in first thing tomorrow morning with more promo tips on how to PUMP UP your blog to sell more books. I've got a couple questions I haven't answered yet, so they'll be posted first.

I've been real busy over the week-end...the fun just never stops. Heh. No, really, I do enjoy doing this, more so than writing sometimes, but I really don't want to give up those wonderful books that are languishing in my to-be-published files either. I just figure it'll all balance out in the long run.

I'm in the middle of putting together a book trailer for one of online buddies. If anyone has never experienced the thrill of putting one of this "mini-movies" for your book together before, let me tell you...you better have a bottle of Boones Farm nearby. You have to be a director, cinematographer, graphic artist and writer all at the same time. Very challenging, but when you finally have this all come together, it's really something to be proud of.

About a year or two ago, I heard about these book trailers and I really wanted one. I checked around for someone to do this for me, and was I floored at how much they charged. But, now, I know why...it takes about a week of constant thinking and the actual hands-on work involved to have this come together right. I'm a perfectionist. I'll dream about it long after I've turned the computer off for the night...in fact, that's the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning. Obsessed to the max.

In other news, I've been challenged. Now, this is a fun challenge. Someone has offered me MOOLAH to see if I can find bloggers who would be interested in hosting him on his next virtual book tour. You know what I say about this? Pshish. But, the catch is, they have to be a certain kind of blog...don't want to give too much away...but, yes, this has been challenging, but way fun. In fact, I will be hosting this person on my blog in the near future (although it's not counted in the ten I will find for him).

Well, I've been given a week to do this. Can I do it? Yes, I can!

And that's the kind of attitude I want you all to have. Nothing is impossible. You don't have to reach for the stars...have them come to you!
